Newsletter 1 – 2009

Welcome to our first newsletter for 2009. 

I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and New Year and is looking forward to another great rugby year in 2009.

The committee looks forward to catching up with members of the Supporters Club both BEFORE and AFTER the match at the Lancaster Park Hotel “Boots Bar”.

Just a reminder that subs are now due for the 2009 season. Once again these are just $20.00 and can be paid by either sending a cheque along with your form (which is on our website www.crsc.org.nz) to the PO Box, or you can pay at the Boots Bar at Lancaster Hotel on game days. Forms will be available at the bar on game days.

We hope that you will call in and have a drink or two with us at Boots Bar on game days, and hopefully we will be have the team in there for a while after the games, depending on their other commitments.

Be a big change for the Crusaders this year with a new Coach at the helm, along with an extra new assistant coach as well.  I know that we all wish Todd Blackadder, Mark Hammett and Daryl Gibson the very best for the season, and I know that they and the team like to see you all at the park supporting them.

There are some new faces in the Crusaders squad this year. But as we know now, there always seems to be someone that will make that step up. And in a short while we will be saying Scotty ….. who???
